I have worked for Beyondsoft, one of the most well-known suppliers in the localization industry in mainland China, for 5 years. In the first 3 years, I worked for Thomson Reuters, a famous financial data provider. As a contractor, my work was mainly focused on analyzing the M&A transactions of listed companies in the Chinese and Japanese markets, and the delivery and implementation of financial data products. In the following 2 years, as a localization project manager, I was mainly responsible for translation, proofreading, quality inspection and project delivery of software products from well-known companies such as VMware, Adobe and EA games.
