AZ-Loc Language Service, Inc. is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information of our clients, collaborators, partners, and affiliates. This privacy policy states how we, “the Company” collect and process information, which is collected from our website and other communication channels. This privacy policy applies to your personally identifiable information that we obtained and from opt-in tools we use on our website (www.az-loc.com).

Definition

Personal Information” means that any information related to you, “the Individual.” An individual is identifiable if it is possible to identify him or her, whether directly or indirectly. For the purpose of business operations, we may request the following types of personally identifiable information: name, email address, telephone number, address, fax numbers, and other information about your company, professional experience, skillsets, etc.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect personal data from users and site visitors. This may include personal data, such as name, email address, personal account preferences; transactional data, such as purchase information; and technical data, such as information about cookies.

Personal data is not just created by a user’s interactions with our site. Personal data is also generated from technical processes such as contact forms, comments, cookies, analytics, and third party embeds.

By default WordPress does not collect any personal data about our users and site visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users. However some of our plugins (contact forms) may collect personal data.

AZ-Loc will never disclose your personal information without your consent. We will not sell, rent, or lease your personally identifiable information to any third-parties. We will ensure that your personal information and data collected from you will never be misused.

You have the right to be informed, right of access, right to rectify, to be deleted, to restrict/block processing, right to data portability and the right to object.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you upload documents to the website, you expressed that the documents are published in the public and not protected by any non-disclosure agreement between you and the Company.

Cookies

We have provided the cookies which WordPress installs by default.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Contact forms

By default, WordPress does not include a contact form. We use contact form plugin and your personal data is captured when you submit a contact form from our website. We keep contact form submissions for customer service purposes, which sign up for newsletters by default. However, you may write to info@az-loc.com to opt-out, if you do not wish to remain on the newsletter mailing list.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, documents, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, which you may opt out of analytics tracking here. And here’s the privacy policy of Google Analytics.

By default WordPress does not collect any analytics data. However, many web hosting accounts collect some anonymous analytics data. We also have installed some WordPress plugins that provide analytics services.

Who we share your data with

By default WordPress does not share any personal data with anyone.

The Company does not share your data with a third party, which does not include in-house staff and freelancing workforce who need to process your data, such as name, address, company information, and information contained in the documents that you sent to us.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We keep contact form entries for twelve (12) months, analytics records for one (1) year, and customer purchase records for ten (10) years.

The amount of time we retain personal information is ten (10) years after employment ends for our employees and collaborators, five (5) years after the last project for discontinued freelancers, and ten (10) years after last purchase for our clients.

We send email to individuals and organizations who have explicitly requested it or that which we have a pre-existing business or personal relationship, which we can verify. We consider our clients’ availing our services and request for information as valid communication through email correspondence, and that we also include on our mailing list.

We may change the provisions in this privacy policy at any time and for a specific reason. We will also notify you and we encourage you to visit this page each time you visit and browse our website. You agree to the terms of this updated privacy policy by using this website.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

You have the right to opt-out from our newsletter in case you want to be excluded from all future communication. We may have collected your personally identifiable information via email correspondence and other purposes. You may contact us at info@az-loc.com, if you wish to opt-out, and specify the reason and request us to remove your information from our databases.

Where your data is sent

European data protection law requires data about European residents which is transferred outside the European Union to be safeguarded to the same standards as if the data was in Europe.

We use Kinsta web hosting service for hosting, cloud storage, and other third party services, by which that your data is safeguarded to European data protection standards. Kinsta is GDPR compliant. For more information, you may visit their privacy policy.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
